What a rip.

I crosschecked a lot of their items and even with the 25% off sale their items are still 10-15% higher than the competition. Honeyville, Auguson Farms, Costco, SAMs, etc...

There is no comparison in quality and shelf life, Mountain House is what all others are judged against........

Only thing that is an equal is the private label at Costco made by Mountain House. That is a GOOD DEAL when it is ON SALE. Many here have purchased it.

Unless you have deep pockets you get more bang for your buck elsewhere. Mountain House is good but it ain't that good. Shelf life? Their #10 cans of white rice last longer than everyone else's #10 cans of white rice?

I certainly hope so if their gonna charge %25 more.

I just tried the Mountain House "seafood chowder" for the first time. I rank it in the top three with chili mac and beef stroganoff.

I don't know how new it is but I had never tried it till now. FYI
