Seems to me the FBI is about to shut down servers they 'don't like'

I read on Cnet somewhere that there is supposed to be a very easy fix for this thing... also the numbers that they quoted that were affected didn't seem all that high... However I did have a grim fantasy of only sites critical of the tptb were taken down and no one cared out in tvland....

No, they aren't shutting down servers they "don't like", they took over DNS servers from some script kiddies, and have been managing them. Anyone infected with these script kiddies malware will lose internet when these DNS servers are shut down.

There is no chance that GIM is on one of these servers.
