Default Enough Doom & Gloom for Today?

Don't forget to appreciate the 1 life you have and the things that are most important to you in this trouble-stricken society. Appreciate and enjoy the natural world that Mother Nature has given us, she is most beautiful and most powerful when left alone.

    Thanks for the reminder.

I just spent a week touring the B.C. Okanagan valley and soaked in every minute of my time there. So many people are in such a rush even when on vacation and surrounded by natural beauty that they rush their enjoyment and hardly ever stop to smell the flowers.

Here is a quick pic i took one afternoon while taking a hike after visiting the "Blasted Church" winery and before going to the "Tinhorn Creek" winery.

I try to enjoy mother nature every chance i get.

There was doom, and gloom, yesterday? Damn I missed it.

I don't believe that it happened, as of yet (in this thread) I haven't seen any evidence of it. Saw a cool pic though.

I never was a fan of Dr. Doom much anyway. He didn't have the sense of humor that the riddler or the penguin had, wasn't sinister enough to top some of the Jonny Quest baddies.

I was counting my blessing this morning. I can walk almost pain free for the first time in four months. I spent the whole morning playing with my 2 yr old Granddaughter. We picked vegetables from the garden, feed the chickens and the fish and played in her little pool and sandbox. What more can you ask from life!

Darth Vader would be proud of me, I have turned to the dark side and learned to embrace it.

Always turn the dark side out. And, after you've worn them twice, wash them.
Ineptocracy (in-ept-o-cra-cy)—a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
