Question Are MS ATB 5oz or Mint Marked SAEs the better long term bets??

Another Jordan book inspired newbie question = Do you think the mint marked slabbed ATB 5oz pucks or the mint marked SAE's will be the better long term investment bets???

    Thanks, Bill

QWAK,Bullion is BULLION it don't matter what is stamped on it as long as it realy is .999 SILVER or perhaps .9999 SILVER --- what ever FIAT that is now in existence will not be in existence much longer and bullion weight and purity will be all that counts at that point!

You may be able to get more $$$ for one form or another BEFOR TSHTF but even IF you do --- AFTER you won't have SILVER any more YOU will be a BAG HOLDER with FIAT in that bag!

You wrote MS ATB so I guess you mean a graded one. So the question isn't specific enough in regards to the SAE. Do you mean a first strike MS 70 reverse proof San Francisco SAE or an unslabbed 2012 plain vanilla SAE? But if you are just talking 5oz ATB puck to plain 5oz of SAEs I would guess ATB puck.

I had meant a slabbed ms69 or 70 SAE mint marked W, S or P vs a slabbed ms69 or 70 ATB puck mint marked P, the "collector" version puck.

    Thanks, Bill

I would still say the ATB puck (the lower the mintage the better) unless this year the W or S is low mintage and it is a MS70 with a very low population. There are no P marked SAE, they are the unmarked ones. But who knows the year isn't over and the mint has thrown one curve already.

Isn't the 2001 & 2006 Reverse Proof marked with a "P"?? I was assuming those would be lumped into the same category, even though they cost a little more......

It was too hard to figure out with out any more specifics provided. With the original question you would think you mean the bullion ASE without a mintmark from Philly. I could also ask when you mentioned the W mintmark did you also mean the 1995 W too? Starting to make too many apple orange comparisons.
