Almost feel like I knew this already. Must be my common sense kicking in.
Something tells me that If I told my neighbor they should get rid of all their guns, it would give them a reason to buy more.

Still not sure if Iran is the bogeyman, they could be just playing the part. Remember Israel was the one that physicaly delivered U.S. arms to Iran during that whole IranContra fiasco back in the mid eighties. If Iran was such a threat to Israel why did they supply them with arms? And the players in that trade, do they still keep in contact? Unanswered questions.
