You kind of get the feeling the guy in the front talked the guy in the back into doing this. Notice the guy in the back looks fairly nonchalant until about the :08 mark, when you can see him tuck his head down and start to tense up, all the while holding his buddy's shoulder up front.

I hope the guys are mostly okay and learn from the experience, but at the same time I hope shrapnel took out their testes so they never reproduce. Seriously who the F*** thinks it's a great idea to drop an explosive twelve inches from the side of your boat? Stupidity truly knows no borders...

The as$hole holding the grenade had the spoon flipped, and the pair of them were playing "chicken".
First one to "break" loses. (Explains the arm contact.)
Looks like the one who broke first lost double. Fargin blast lifted him nearly 2 feet. He is in trouble -- if not dead.
I have chunked grenades into DEEP water (hey, I wuz 40 years younger and in a boomy-zone anyway) and they sink so fast they are not really any danger at all...
PROVIDING YOU GET RID OF THEM IMMEDIATELY!!

QWAK,In grade school I had a friend who wanted to see if an "M80" realy would go off under water.
He invited me and several other guys over to watch when he droped one what he waited down in to a full old fassion double wash tub like they had in old apartment buildings.
It went OFF all right --- BLEW the bottom out of the tub!!I looked like some one had taken a sledge hammer to it!
In fact I believe that is what his father and the police decided MUST have happened!
After that he tried FLUSHING one down the camode at the PARK
Does the same thing to PORCELIN only there is also porcelin SHRAPINAL going out in all directions!
Last I heard of him he was in the NAVY on the deck of aircraft carrier and some howNever knew what hit him but made a big MESS on the DECK!

Just googled it. Are saying this is the scene from that movie where the guy got killed? If that's the case this video doesn't appear to fit what was described in the article.

Only part fake.Either that or the video is a fake...which I'm almost positive it is.
It is from the movie, it's a stunt gone wrong, fake 'Russians', fake grenade......putt, putt, putt,.... drop 'grenade'.. pyrotechnic crew triggers underwater blast....oops, maybe too close, maybe too much boom, maybe the 'charge' floated up, anyway you look at it, 'they blowed up real good'.
And because someone is playing in the choir eternal, it'll be a long time before the investigation is conclusive.
