    Default How Come

How Come the Gold Silver Ratio keeps getting wider. Will they ever quit beating up on silver? Last year when Gold was over $1600. Silver was in the 30's. with a ratio in the 30-1's now the ratio is 57.56
Molon Labe I used to save Silver and Gold now I save Lead and Brass.

It gets wider, it gets narrow, it tracks sideways.

That's the way the ratio historically swings.

Some folks increase their stacks by taking advantage of these swings in the ratio.

I liken silver to a crack whore. You can get a great ride if you a there at the right time. The problem I've observed is, the high NEVER lasts. Never has. Take it for what it's worth.

On some days they trade in paper over a BILLION ounces when worldwide they only MINE about 800 MILLION ounces a year.

ESF is key. The 1934 FDR contol the world system.

Paper games smoke and mirrors - silver is the Achilles Heel to the anti-real money folks.

Always be reminded of Horace Tabor, who was all in for silver and became the richest man in Colorado.

    And then became the poorest.

You are correct Gcubed. Silver is a whore, never propose marriage no matter how good it feels. She's broken a lot of men.

If you're ever near Leadville stop by.

Interesting little town, especially for you pm buffs. Highest elevation of any town in the US. The mines near there are as numerous as the stars in the sky. Been to Buckskin but didn't realize that was his general store.

Not far from there we camped at a spot between Mt Elbert and another 14ner, Laplatte. A very narrow valley with a roaring river. It was like Eden at the dawn of creation.
