Way beyond my level of appreciation stacker.
I'm still stuck in my Japanese School Girl Phaze of admiration:
These girls really learned how to play those instruments for a movie. Not bad...
Japan isn't into that milli-vanilli bs.
Music is a language. A way to communicate.
Kinda like money only different.
Hey ...what if music was used as money ?
Your posts of flatheads. That is music correct ?
I think so ! And I would like to explore more of that here,
or over the strongend on another thread.
Some are fluent in other forms of communcation. Those guys I posted are savants / blessed beings.
Very much so. Me, hah, I am just a hack.
Those school girls are learning a different language. Good stuff.
I have some Berlin Phil Jap Cd's. Used to go to the Virgin store at Dis when they opened and I would buy every hornblower cd they had. Candy store is now closed. Another spreadsheet gone wild.
The Japanese are crazy for live music. To bad the politicos and ZIRP has destroyed the country.
What those school girls are learning will survive. I know it.
Who says ya gotta be in the military to learn respect and discipline ? Those girls got it don't they ?
Regards to all...where is everyone else anyways ????...hey you lurkers !!!, c'mon in...the waters fine !!!!
Those school girls...next stop:::
'Nother one of my favs...AFTER the school girls of course...
Wow, that girl really has the chops. I tried a horn one time, a kid from Band Class had his trumpet out on the bus. I couldn't make one sound on it that ever sounded like a note.
Once I sounded like an elephant that ate too much grass with that horn blower. And that took a lot of air and lung power. Then I handed it back and stuck to the Kazoo. Later the blues harp, when I really get in the mood. Doesn't take nothin to bend those reeds.
Music is money. In Heaven, bro. Or part of the currency of exchange up there. Only in Heaven, EVERYONE plays in the concert. Every person has an insturment tuned to their unique soul, even little children.
See, I had a vision once, when I attended the AG church back in the late 70s. First time I ever saw anything supernatural without peyote being ingested. A real out of the body experience.
I was in Heaven. Real Heaven. Not that fake, 'I'm a star hollywood' Heaven TV preachers sell for a buck. It was the 'theif on a cross' type Heaven, many people who were seen as loosers down here, who you never thought would make it were there. Some of the people who acted like big saints down here? Yep, a lot of them poor fuggers made the elevator going South.
Every soul in Heaven had an instrument to play, except God was the conducter. It was wild, bro, and I never forgot it. It was like hearing music for the very first time,, perfect harmoney, perfect tunes. The notes/feelings you serch for down here, but never quite find. You didn't need 'money' up there either, cuz u had everything u needed, because everyone shared. Your soul is an 'instument', it is briefly sent down to earth to be refined like a well aged violen.
Then I returned to Earth, that was the bummer part. Down here, everyone is their own conductor. It sounds like a band tuning up down here, rarely do you even hear a two part harmoney. One guy beats his drum another blows his horn, rarely in harmoney.
What you enjoy on Earth, yep, that is what you will enjoy in Heaven/Hell. You find the goodness of life down here and join the band, or you don't.
Lies Haystack. So many lies down here on the planet. Not just fake money, fake everything. Music is one of the few things that can't really decieve, you hit the note or you don't. You play in harmoney, or you don't. You inspire others, or you don't. You join the band or you don't, forever.
I can't look forward to the Pink Floyd Concert in the sky. Every talent on earth continues to develop for all eternity. or not. The Heaven I witnessed was more like Gilmour and Waters, here I thought is was just Syd Barret who was soley responsible for the group. We have a lot to learn and music is still our best teacher. A window to the 'other world'.
I look forward to returning.. and seeing old freinds/family again, only this time I want to stay, forever.
Blah... Blah. Blah... Blah.
Blahhhhhhhhhh.
Ever notice how that resembles the shoud of SHEEP? Maybe we need a Blah-Blah sub forum?
I normally would never allow an advert in my downloads. But wouldn't you know it a flubin toothpaste shill has the best sound quality on uTube? Yeah. Proves there is a Satan.

Tired of that boring 9-5 gig?
Learn to play guitar like this:
Listen very closely and then tell me were the Stones/Keith Richards got his start.
If a man must work, do a job you want to do all day all night.
Here are a couple for the riot grrrls here.
1. Siouxsie and the Banshees - Spellbound. I only saw the Banshees play once, and it was a life-changing experience. I had a major crush on Siouxsie half my life ago. What a beautiful and talented woman with a voice to die for. She was at the forefront of punk rock in the 70's and continued the good fight well into the 80's. She was the influence and gold standard for other females to dip into the punk rock and alternative music scene...we are forever grateful.
2. Babes in Toyland - Catatonic. My favorite all-female band; hands down, bar none. Kat rules and the 2 other bandmates were really cool as well both times I had the privilege of seeing them live.
3. Hole - Violet. 3/4 female band. Before Kurt and Courtney became wacked out on heroin, Nirvana and Hole were arguably some of the best and last of real music, with exceptions of course.
Let's have a ball and a biscuit, sugar....take our sweet little time about it!!
Nice tune P.d. I don't know about you, but I can hear it coming.
On a quiet nite,, yepper,, sounds about like this:
Won't be much longer.
Still love the lead in to this song! Slow build!

Kari's voice in this song (especially later in the song) is incredible.

Thank you Platinum Dude. I was looking for music to enjoy these T-Bones too.
Eye-talians still crank out the best dinner music.
Just passed a cherry '62 chevy Impala on the way to Krogers. That thing quietly rumbled through chrome straight pipes as it pulled away from the light.
A well tuned V8 is still the sweetest sound I know.
If that don't bring back those late teen year memories and joy of living, nothin will.
Now you are making me hungry for steaks, and I don't have my gas grill yet. Guess it's time to go buy one.
Maybe its' time to close down the forum when Charley starts to make sense.
wtf? Am I going crazy or did old charles just make more sense than most tax paying posters I read every day?
PD, I think I just reached the ultimate bottom of the rabbit hole. I should have just stayed at that Pink Floyd concert tongiht.. sheeeetttt.

Great stuff Hystck, worthy of a lyrics post:
Grace - gracious love
Reaching out to take me as I am,
Accepting - expecting I will do the best I can
Caring - you cover me, clothed in Your own righteousness I am
Exactly - What You've made me, by grace I have found favor in the Lamb
Cover me - cover me - cover me.
Mercy - made free to me
Eternal life, a gift that has no end.
Receiving - believing in the mercy You extend.
Cover me - you cover me, clothed in Your own righteousness I stand
Your mercy - has made me a part of Your salvation army band.
Heart to God, Hand to Man
Saved to Serve, Salvation Army Band
Peaceful sleep
Enjoyed by those whose eyes find rest in you.
Adoring - the glory of Your presence is in view.
Cover me - you cover me, clothed in Your own righteousness I stand
Eternally - You made me a part of Your salvation army band.
Cover me - cover me - cover me.
Heart to God, Hand to Man
Saved to Serve, Salvation Army Band

PD, I once woke up in bed with a girl that looked just like one of those twins. (actually better, those gals look like skanks) This gal was fresh off the farm, preachers daughter run away.
I met her in an apartment after the bars closed, invited her to come over and sit on my lap.
The last thing I remembered was asking her, "So, what does mamma keep in here?" as I stretched her top to take a peek at the boob a lubes. She quickly pulled her top back, laughing hard and then the screen goes dark. Blackout City.
Next day I awake and she is sleeping next to me in a strange bedroom. "What did I say last night to get you into bed?" I really wanted to ask her that. My best work and I don't remember a minute of it.
I am not sure PD you would know what to do with those gals on ur lap. Offer to buy them a pizza and pull out ur "Antique Road Show" dvds? You would need a better game plan than that, a lot of competition on hotties.
I used to play in a big band.
I always liked these pieces.
Short and sweet.

Son, you may need some time in the Box.
Your head is not right, boy....
I"m sure this has already been posted, I just felt like hearing it today!
"You Gonna Pull Those Pistols, Or Whistle Dixie?"
Ozzy!
A great talent and the only 'reality' tv show I have ever watched for more than two seconds.
SirOzzyyzzO (05-03-2012)
At 2:57 Ozzy get's a little pissed at himself. He JUST misses that high note a bit. Great singing voice though!

I would have loved to see the look on those square BBC sound technicians faces the first time a red-eyed Oldfield walked into the recording studio carrying nothing but a green/red Glockenspiel under one arm.
Our yank version of "Mr Higher than a Kite" in the recording studio, Al Kooper.
I'm done, It's on!
Ok thought I would post some of my favorites tonight
