I've shot a lot of IMI .308 and I always thought it was good ammo. So this probably isn't too bad of a deal for all you 5.56 pea shooting pansies
Hey, watch it buster...
"You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."
"If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."
Just scored the same stuff in Walmart this afternoon, packaged in 20-round boxes as "Independence" ammo. It is XM193 Nato Federal headstamp 55gr. crimped primer, annealed brass, manufactured in Israel under license. Price was $8.97 for box of twenty. Bought 500 round case. Less than 45 cents per round before tax. Well near back to "pre-panic" price range. I actually left another 400 rounds on the shelf...
EDIT: went back later and bought the rest...
happy ammo hunting

Shot this ammo today out of my Daniel Defense AR with 1:7 twist. Groups in about an inch at 100 yards (kinda unusual with this type ammo). I'm well pleased, so I decided to zero the 3-9x scope to this load.
Headstamp on this stuff is FC 2013 with NATO marking.
I will definitely keep an eye out for this ammo in the future.
Local Gun Show this weekend has UAE manufactured 5.56x45 for 350 per 1000 round case. Stuff is flying off the shelf. Same dealer also has IMI .308 in the 50cal ammo cans, can't remember the exact price but my brother who was there with me all day said it was a hell of a deal as well.
