Social collapse movie??

Question : on the old site about 2 years ago someone posted a you tube vid about a family that had prepared-generater, food , weapon etc. When the collapse occured they were constantly fighting off the neighbors.

They eventually boarded up their house like a fortress, wouldn't let their daughter go out, were paranoid because of so many attacks and thefts.

Anybody know where that video might be?

I remember the vid.....got no clue the name or link

No I haven't. I don't think it was Memoirs of a Survivor. I think it was made since 911. The setting was in the Suburbs. It was about a guy who had been preping, but when tshtf everyone he had tried to recruit to be prepared and help each other turned against him and started taking his stuff. He and his family (wife and daughter) were very paranoid in the movie. It was a good example of how bad it can get with neighbors you thought were your friends

If I remember right someone had found it posted on a survival website.

Your description sounds a lot like the Twilight Zone episode that was posted a few weeks ago. A doctor had a bomb shelter stocked with stuff for his family. All the neighbors made fun of him until there was an alert that ICBM missiles were on the way. Then all the neighbors demanded to share his preps, and they broke into his shelter to get the stuff.

Several ways to avoid "sharing" your preps during an emergency:

1. Tell no one you have preps. Children & teenagers will tell, so they need to be kept in the dark and/or told not to tell.

2. Tell people you are sick (flu, etc.). This may keep them away.

3. If any band of mauranders come around, lock-n-load.

4. Put up signs like during Katrina: "You loot, we shoot" or similar "notices".
