    Default New ammo design, strange stuff.

    The New Ammunition That Has Gun Owners Drooling......

    http://thelibertydigest.com/2014/01/...ners-drooling/

    They call it the R.I.P. round and with good reason. G2 Research has released a new ammo that is taking the market by storm and has gun owners all over the country trying to find where to pick some up.

    As of now, the company is only releasing specifications for their 9mm round and they go a lil’ something like this:

    * 16″ Penetration
    * Up to 6″ diameter spread
    * 96 gr projectile
    * 2″ grouping at 25 yrds
    * 1265 FPS / 490 Muzzle Energy
    * 9 Separate Wound Channels
    * Precision Machined
    * Solid Copper / Lead Free
    * Defeats all known barriers such as sheet metal, sheet rock, windshields, plywood, heavy winter clothing.

    .......wonder if they decide to manufacture a 240 grain .44 Mag hole saw round.......

    Interesting concept, but IMO, it looks like something designed to wound, not kill. I wonder how the muzzle energy of 490 ft/lbs was derived? I'm guessing that it is the total of all 9 fragments? I think I'll just stick to JHPs.

    Interesting concept, but from watching the video's I see one major flaw. In many shots, the bullet broke apart, and many of the small fragments exited the targets. I'm not sure how this would work on a human target, but imagine an innocent bystander getting hit from those fragments. Law suite waiting to happen.

    I wanna know how an all copper frag manages to 'defeat all known barriers'.
    And this is why I'm a monarchist ... the public is just too damn stupid to be allowed to control the country
