Default John B Wells quits Coast to Coast.

Never cared for him too much, but if there ever was a guy with a voice for radio, he is it.

    Noory announced it last night.

Various guest hosts will do Saturday nights until they pick a successor to Wells.

He always made my sub-woofer kick on.

Hope he does well in whatever comes next.

IMHO Noory himself is the worst of the bunch. Never asks the hard questions. Thinks too highly of himself.

    George Knapp is my favorite.

Rob Simone is great on UFO topics.

I keep asking why don't they get the original? Bill Jenkins was doing this long before Art Bell got his HAM license.

Surprised you didn't like him, out of all the hosts he talked about topics on this forum, by far more than the others. The best host since Art...too bad.

I dunno, I think his "I'm too cool" attitude rubbed me the wrong way.

John B. Wells does not mince words. He was about to launch his own daily program online called Carvan to Midnight. I just tried the CTM page and it was down. If there is a list of 8 million, i would bet he that he is in the top 1,000. I hope he has not been "disappeared".

Punnett is history . Supposedly "medical issues," Wells came on to take his slots.

Punnett was the worst of any talk show host I've ever heard.

Punnett announced he was going deaf with acute tinnitis and this condition was forcing him to leave the show.

Incidently, Doug Hagman just announced Wells will be on his Saturday show hours 2 and 3.

will definitely miss wells. i really liked his style and quality. might be he left as he is more serious and doesn't care to cover hogwash like "bigfoot". don't know if he had a free hand in his own guest line-up or not. noorey is a lightweight. i always wondered if bell chose him as his successor so as never to be outshone. i believe wells can be heard as narrator on one of the alien shows. maybe unsealed: alien files or such

Noory is the worst. I believe he has scripted questions but doesn't listen to the guest. The guest will get a bit ahead of the script and say "the wall was painted blue". A few seconds later, Noory will ask what was the colour of the wall. Like he is doing crossword puzzles during the interview and only paying minimal attention.

Punnit was impossible to listen to. Just terrible. I thought he had packed it in because of tinnitus but I heard him on there long after that.

Wells is ok and in my limited exposure was willing to call BS. He did have an abundance of the "Aren't I cool factor" though.

On his now defunct new Sirius program, Bell said unequivocally, he did not pick Noory. Premiere Networks did.

And boy is Art forever pissed at Premiere (for other issues).

LOL...too true! I recall a real DNA expert on C2C explaining the genetic differences between apes and humans, and the next thing you know Noory jumps in and asks, "So, is a chimp's DNA different from a fish?"

Another time, he had some nut saying they found a six fingered gaint in a cave in Afghanistan and shipped it to the US on a C-130, and without any sign of doubt or surprise, Noory just casually reponds with, "That's fascinating, isn't it?"

Can anyone point me to some similar programing on "Internet Radio". I listen to C2C (when I do) on an AM station out of Toronto but there seems to be a number of internetcasts that don't have a licensed broadcast station as a platform.

Sad to hear it. I just started listening again to C2C a few weeks ago, and I like Wells alot. Don't care a whole lot for Noory either. Punnett was a big time LibTard in my opinion. I remember years ago when he would do weekends for Art. A deep voice is part of the atmosphere of this type program. I remember Joe Benson down in LA when I lived there. He did the Sunday Night program on KLOS, playing whole album sides at a time. Did Art Bell just cash out completely? Sure wish he would come back to C2C. I know the XM thing didn't work out.

Anything that is printed on this page is purely fictional, and is in the context of an alternate virtual reality in a parallel universe. I, myself, am a fictional character! Any statements which appear to have a resemblance to real people or institutions or events, past, present or future, are unintentional and the result of pure coincidence.

Proud of my tin-foil hat - this is pride of something EARNED (I'm a self-made "nut"!) - and anything I may say should be taken in this context!
