    Default .380 ammo

I've seen a lot of ammo priced at less than $20/50 rounds this week. Are the manufacturers catching up or is no one buying. I found some Sellier & Belliot, 92 grain FMJ for $.308/round delivered from J&G Sales. Does anyone know what's going on?

I have to add this. If no one is aware of what's happening then I think it's a "buy now" scenario for .380, these prices don't come along often. Here's a site I found:

I bought mine at half that, boxer primed brass.

30 cents per round doesn't sound particularly cheap to me, I might buy some more if it gets down to 20...

If you ask me, the best way to buy ammo is from the reloaders at the gun shows. There is nothing wrong with using reloads for range practice, and just keeping a few mag's-worth of +P defensive loads on hand for the bedstand or carrying.

If you trust the quality control.

As far as the price of the 380 ammo?? I wonder if the demand is not there anymore as guys have unloaded their 380s after several years of having to deal with high priced ammo or lack of availability. Just a thought.

I only buy name brand US 380. Been looking for 380 for months. Finally got a couple of boxes of name brand. About .34 a round.

I don't plink with the 380, just use it for mini backup for a few of these.

The big gun buy after Bambi got selected a lot of those sales were .380's for some reason. I reload here so I really do not have a clue what a fair price is.

Buy a single stage re-loader kit and dies.

    It is great therapy.

My local range just got in about 20 cases of PMC .380 and they will ship. $0.30 a round by the case ($0.34 otherwise). Plenty of stock of other calibers at pretty decent prices too.
