Can I change my name? And what am I doing wrong with avatar uploading?

Can we request a name change here at GIMTWO? I've been wanting to get away from the gunnish names but one of the first posts about this yesterday said to use our GIM1 names.

I'd like to change my name. Thanks!

Anyone know why I'm having trouble uploading my avatar. It's never been a problem and it appears it's the correct size.
I keep getting this message when I try and upload it "This JPEG image has the incorrect file extension." I've no idea what the problem is.

I'm having a problem with my Avatar as well. Shows in my profile and worked yesterday but not showing up in the threads.

keehah, loading one for profile is different from loading the av,

please try to upload your avatar in your user settings,

Thanks. Found a smaller (4kB) version of the image and it worked the previous was 12kB. Confused me since the larger size did work yesterday though. Perhaps the site was still being tweaked.
