Don't forget to plan for dessert in your preps
Most preppers are probably aware of the risk of "food fatigue" as they stock up, so just as a gentle reminder...
You should've seen my neighbor's face a few minutes ago when she saw me hauling 40 pounds of Tootsie Rolls from Sam's Club into my apartment.

I've actually already started stocking up on bags of hard candy. If the SHTF, I'd go crazy eating the same stuff everyday without some sugar to augment it.

And liquid, and frozen pure strains... Have not tried the local wild yeast, but am apt to give it a go. Some sourdough breads are wonderful, and grapes typically have enough good yeast on them to give that a try as well. If TSHTF, I don't want to suffer too much.

It is not well known, but the density of Tootsie Rolls make them excellent protection from hard radiation.
