Just thought I would give this thread a new direction. If you are a shooter then you are aware that lead has gone up a lot over the last few years and will probably continue to do so. If you are also the self reliant type and like to make things yourself then consider casting your own bullets. I scrounge lead wheelweights then when I get a 5 gallon bucket full I melt them down into little ingots and stack them until I get that satisfied feeling. Eventually they are cast into bullets which I shoot into a dirt bank. Make sure you research the process enough that you don't poison yourself.
