    I like looking at pics as well, but I imagine for a lot of GIMers it's a toss up between sharing pictures with the public, and preserving some privacy/secrecy.
    On the numismatic forums I visit, it's exactly the same dilemma.

    Exactly.

    I don't mind posting a picture every now and then of one individual gun. But I'm not going to post any pictures showing my entire collection. It's too bad but it just seems like the prudent thing to do.

    I agree, and therefore I only posted pictures of weapons which are either no longer in my possession, or residing far off-premises.
