WASHINGTON - Sen. Arlen Specter[IMG] has been defeated in a Pennsylvania primary in his bid for a sixth term after taking the risky step of switching to the Democratic Party.

Voters Tuesday picked U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak[IMG] as the party's nominee and rejected the 80-year-old Specter in his first Democratic campaign.

The vote also was a defeat for President Barack Obama, who supported Specter when he abandoned the Republican Party last year.

There are going to be more upsets coming. The voters are ticked and its time to make sure that crooks are not re-elected!

My theory is that Specter was kept until completely and very obviously unelectable, because as both DA and as author of the "magic bullet theory" he had lots of dirt on lots of people. Well-connected too, first law practice was with now-Federal Judge Katz.

Sestak's victory is probably a Pyrrhic one, in that Dems may well be crushed in this year's elections.
