Buy Magnum P.I's Ferrari! The 308 GTS driven by Tom Selleck in 1980s TV show that's tipped to sell for more than double a standard car's value at auction
    • Ferrari 308 GTS QV was used during filming of series 5 of the hit crime drama
    • It's being sold with certification that Tom Selleck drove the car on camera
    • Bonhams expects it to sell for up to $250,000 or £200,000
    • Other 'excellent' examples sell on average for $100,000 or £83,000
    • The car goes under the hammer in Arizona on Thursday 19th January

Awesome! I get paid tomorrow. I think I'll put in a bid.

On a more serious note, I'm surprised that it would only sell for double norm. Magnum, PI is an iconic tv series.

I see they still have the hard top. Selleck was always in scenes with the top off because he was so tall.

    Tech is something

That car did zero to sixty in 7.2 and the quarter in 15.6

About the same as a Kia Sedona these days

Overall classic cars are over priced. I'm waiting for the economic crash of 2017 to be completed by December and then I'll scoop up all these classic jewels for chump change (that's my plan anyway) and give them as Christmas gifts! :)
