A friend was showing me an old double-trigger shotgun that his dad is giving him. This is the first time I've seen a shotgun with two triggers...but I've not had much experience yet with double-barrel shotguns. Any of you have shotguns like this?

Two trigger side by sides are common enough. What you have there is an (I)exposed hammer(/I)side by side, which were generally made before production of internal hammer side by sides.

You can't get there from here.
Brother in law got one from his dad decades ago, however, his has a wooden stock and is functional. I don't know the make. At the time it wasn't worth much.

I grew up bird hunting with an internal hammer double barrel side by side w/2 triggers. One barrel was improved cylinder and the other modified (this was way before screw in chokes).

Ditto: those are for wall hanging only. I have one in 16 ga.over my mantle, a guild made gun from Belgium. Most of those old guns were built in various village guilds. I wouldn't shoot it for nutt'in.

Navy Arms 12g front stuffer (made by Pedersoli) - double trigger, rabbit ear hammers - cost $150 in 1987 from Midway Shooters Supply

Extremely light weight upland bird gun, modified by cylinder bore, front trigger for open bore close work followed by second trigger modified choke as the birds fly away.

Can handle up to light 10g weight loads. About $1200 today's market price.

    Beat me to it.

Damascus barrels are often gorgeous, with scrolling, etc.

    But.

    Do not shoot them.

I'd need a better pic of the barrels (more light) than this pic of yours below... but it looks very possibly to be Rose Pattern Damascus:
