In the "alternative universe" of Fringe, Marxist Loser King is on the $20, and Andrew Jackson is unknown.

How "surprising" that the site says this:

So I have come to the conclusion that Andrew Jackson should be removed from the twenty dollar bill. There are just too many more worthy people to have the honor. Maybe Martin Luther King?

Andrew Jackson is perhaps the wicked ones' most hated figure in American history, as he successfully smashed the banksters' schemes for a Rothschild-owned Central Bank "of the United States." The SOBs had to wait decades more to foist it on the American People.

How about we remove the faces from all the money, and we can put the bill of rights on them. Maybe a couple on each denomination.

Thanks for the OP. I read the link.

Yes, Andrew Jackson did bad things, and these were mentioned in the article.

But he also stood up to the banks.

I don't think changes should be made on any bill - and I am quite sure there won't be any changes.

If one change is made, then when will the moral finger pointing of 150-200 years ago stop?

And what dunderheads will be put on bills. MLK? No thanks. Just because he was a 1960s individual in history.

Stick to the originals and early ones: Franklin, and Jefferson (both are one of my favorite Americans as a native born American myself). Lincoln, Jackson, etc.,

And to the politically correct: please f*ck off.

Lets ask Andrew what he thinks....

    Andrew Jackson
"If Congress has the right [it doesn't] to issue paper money [currency], it was given to them to be used by...[the government] and not to be delegated to individuals or corporations"

Indeed, if we could ask any of them: Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, even Lincoln, all of them would be ashamed and embarrassed to be on the US's phony phiat paper money.

Not sure what US Grant would think.

They probably didn't bother to lookup that King's portrait is on the $100 Savings Bond.

Did George Washington own any slaves on his plantation? Just wondering. Since we are going into revisonist history, we may want to remove him from honorable places, too.

If we remove Andrew, can we add Samuel L? That would be awesome.

As of Jan 1 2012, they no longer sell paper bonds. You can only get them now if you choose to have your tax refund, if any, returned to you in bonds. Otherwise savings bonds are electronic.

Lots of people still buy them because they are a good place to park cash. The I-bond is currently paying 3.06% interest, the interest isn't taxable until the bond is redeemed, and no state taxes. Much better deal than bank savings or CDs. If you redeem it before maturity you only lose 3 months interest.

They will only let you purchase $5000/year.

Gee, a worthless character to adorn a worthless piece of paper!

Which office did King hold? Which military command did he lead? Oh, that's right, he's on there solely because of his race.
