Been a long time since I looked, maybe 5 years and they were bringing in $600+. I had wanted a set but didn't have the funds.

Yeah, just checked and NO sold listing for anything unopened.

Looks like the average going rate is $450 opened and the graded up around $700 so I'd say around. $550

Thanks for the input.
I remember the buzz on this site back then with the phone on redial trying to get one of those. Ended up getting the max 5 sets, I flipped a few sets, doubled my money on the whole deal and also got to keep a set. All thanks to the pumpers on GIM2.

Just one box...but they're all 70's...I can tell by the weight.
The weight shouldn't matter but you can definitely tell by the smell.

Don't know if they planned it at the Mint (I hate to give smarts credit to them) but it was cool to find out after all five coins graded they fit nicely in the original display box. Nice set still.

I bought 5 in the initial offer, ended up selling 4 for a pretty decent profit and kept and will keep the 5th.

Gorgeous photo, Tom!

...and gorgeous set. You did well. These have been slowly moving down in price for years - still many multiples of the sale price. I did the same - bought five and sold four.
