Baggage area is outside the 'secure' area, so he could have been there to pick up people, or just showed up to shoot people...

Reports say he came on a flight from Canada (?) and picked his bag up at the claim area, went into the bathroom right there...and took his weapon out of his bag and loaded it ...then came out and fired away.
Which means he had a weapon in his checked luggage !
Been listening to radio this afternoon.
They even sounded all clear then went into live shooter mode again for a dif area.
Crazy man, crazy

Shooter, Esteban Santiago Lived Within Walking Distance From Only Mosque in Alaska

UPDATE: Ft Lauderdale shooter, Esteban Santiago lived within walking distance from the only mosque in Alaska!!

We received a tip that according to voter rolls, Esteban Santiago lived within 1.6 miles of Alaska’s only mosque. Featured photo taken from closed Twitter account (@Esteban00903) of 26 year old Esteban Santiago.

Multiple FALSE images of #EstebanSantiago the #FortLauderdale shooter going around. THIS is the MOST LIKELY one based on Alaska records. https://t.co/ptfe9mdufA

Pic from closed Twitter acct (@Esteban00903) of a 26 y/o #EstebanSantiago w ties to both Anchorage and Naples. NEEDS VERIFICATION! pic.twitter.com/aGRi0p10Eb

Not buying this. This is staged (I believe the carnage is real at this point) to represent the danger of people with mental health issues threatening public safety and it could affect legal gun owners too, so they need to make more stringent gun laws on their way to their ultimate goal....confiscation!

I flew out of there many times. It used to be a naval air station, but was given to the state after WWII. The lost squadron of Flight 19 consisting of 5 US Navy Avenger torpedo bombers left on December 5th, 1945 never to be seen again. They were presumably lost in the Bermuda Triangle.

Seems like crazy people are coming out of the woodwork. Could have been the CIA too. Might be a combination, but Ricans can get crazy.

Not all states have this allowance to be able to leave a proven and discovered bag with guns or ammo along the side of the secured areas.
Bet you Trump is going to change this.
This Isis and all the random murders are horrific!

So, the story is:
This shooter says the CIA trys to get him to fight with ISIS and due to his telling the story, I could believe he has terrible issues with this
so
The shooter tells his story to the FBI, gets nowhere. Somewhere along the way, authority figures and doctors have been involved but, as an afterthought, were all completely worthless
then,
somehow the shooter figures out that buying a ticket, checking his luggage, boarding a plane to fly to another airport, retrieve his luggage, go into a filthy public bathroom while schlepping luggage, find a stall, arm-up, leave the restroom and shoot arbitrary people, is a smart idea, why?

From what I understand, he simply stood out in the open firing at people who were still standing until he could fire no more. No shots were fired by the police and when commanded, the shooter dropped the 9mm and simply sat down where he was arrested

I don't know exactly what to believe but the Hispanic surname is interesting, the distance to a Mosque made this interesting, I hadn't heard that until now

Like others, my main concern are more losses of my Constitutional Rights
All in the Name Of Safety, my safety, of course
F'n Liars, I feel less safe today
After decades of "their" type of safety laws/decrees, I feel a lot less safe than when I first became aware of any need for "safety"

I'll take care of my own Safety, thank you very much!

Now to the penalty phase for the shooter
No need for a courtroom, do not pass go, do not change gender, do not get 3 hots and a cot
Nope
Too many witness' to these tragedies

CIA or not, the shooter pulled the trigger: Guilty

Define staged
Shootings were real....go ask their families
I get what you're saying but if we look at the big picture, there's a hell of a lot of victims killed last year like this "scenario" to prove too many points to get important messages out there.
I'm standing on the fence on this one

He lied down on the floor awaiting for cops to arrest him. WTF?
We're their guns superglued in their holsters?i gree with your monopoly phrase
Constitutional rights? More losses for us?
They are already gone.
Mental disorder has nothing to do with this sicko, I theorize that were walking amongst people far more fu**ed up that him we don't even know.
Gun control?
Yep, it's screwed up to the max

As I said, I don't doubt innocent people were killed by this nut but this guy either isn't as nutty as they're telling us or he was manipulated or somehow coerced into this act

These "lone wolves" seem to well funded

Discharged from Military for four months, 26 is pretty young to be well off.

Just got back from Europe, wife, new via baby, flying from PR to Alaska to Fl

Most people in these circumstances are worried about making rent and buying diapers

Yes they get the money in "funny" ways that nobody follows up on because the trail would lead right to the CIA's asshole. Did you remember where the San Bernadino terrorist got his money from before you read this link, if no, why not.
