I did buy some ATB 5-oz "P" pucks during the last 2 months. Last month I bought two 2018 Cumberland Island "P" pucks for $99 each at a LCS. I turned around and sold those two for $137 each on ebay. When I last posted on this thread, I originally said that I was not going to buy any 2018 "P" pucks but I made an exception because $99 for a "P" puck was a price that I could not refuse. That was also the first time that I paid under $100 for a "P" puck. At last check, the mintage for the Cumberland "P" was 14,211 (as of 11-4-2018 USMint report). I do not think that the Cumberland Island "P" final mintage will be less than the George Rogers Clark "P" mintage of 14,731. I am making a WAG by saying it will be 17K - 18K final mintage for the Cumberland Island "P" puck.

A week ago I was lucky and found two 2017 George Rogers Clark "P" at a local coin show. I bought the two George Rogers "P" pucks for $150 each. I sold one of them for $229 on ebay. I will kept the other one for myself.

Nice job on the George Rogers puck.

I don't think Cumberland final mintage will get that high. while I agree that it will probably surpass the George Rogers mintage I don't think it will get too fat above 15k. we'll see...

A few days ago there were still 2400+ Cumberland P's in stock so the final number WILL be around 16,500+

..and Silver Art...nice grabs on those P's .....and I have sold a few of my Clark P's for $269 each. Weird prices on these...range from $210 (auction) to $310 (BIN) and EVERYTHING in between. Probably will list a couple more as BIN's next week

Thanks for that information regarding the Cumberland "P". I felt good being able to find two Clark "P"'s last week because it allowed me to sell one and keep the other one for myself.

If I get lucky again and can find another Clark "P" for $150 (or less), then I will sell that one for a higher BIN price.

According to another place I lurk at online, the Fredrick Douglass "P" is officially "sold out" with a mintage of 17,768. Cumberland "P" mintage is currently at 14,282.

Earlier today, I was doing some "bottom fishing" for some "P" pucks (and '70's silver art bars) but I came up empty today when I went to a couple of LCS's today. The last time that I bought any "P" pucks were the two George Rogers Clark "P" pucks that I bought earlier this month at a local coin show. Even though I no longer buy any "P" pucks from the USMint, I will still keep track of the "P" mintages and any important posts on this thread and I will continue to look at the USMint reports for the most -up-to-date mintage numbers.

When it comes to "P" pucks (and certain bullion pucks), my main goal is to find them for as close to melt as possible and resell them for by ebay business.

That sucker is gorgeous. I will be ordering one for myself, as well as my dad, who worked on the Apollo mission.

Holy cow. That is a beautiful coin. I do not plan to buy any of the 2019 ATB "P" pucks so I might think about getting an Apollo 5-oz coin. The "footprint" might be the feature that will seal the deal for me.

Been picking off P's from ebay when the 8-10% ebay bucks shows up. Net cost $110-120. Glad I concentrated on bullion during the presales instead of buying from the mint over the last 2 years.

Even better...today only...15% off anything except bullion/paper money and normally excluded items...(10% off tech)

I just tried it on a Clark P (didn't complete purchase) and got $40+ taken off...better than E Bucks still get normal Ebay Bucks

That is a great steal of a deal price-wise on ATB "P"'s IMO. Most of the time those are the kind of prices that I pay for "P" pucks when I get them locally from certain LCS's. However, in my case (most of the time),I buy them for resale.

I sold the 2nd George Rogers "P" today on ebay for a decent profit. I do not regret it because I am planning to use the proceeds to buy that Apollo 5-oz coin.

I tried that coupon on three different PCGS ASE BIN's and it didn't work on any of them. Guess I should have kept trying other items

Major quality control alert on the first 2019 Lowell 5 oz. P coin! I am sending back every coin for surface problems, circular scratches, and nicks. I have been collecting since day one and this is the worst I have ever seen!!!! Time and effort on the Apollo 5 oz. pucks must be the cause I suspect.
