Chill Wills, Dr. Strangelove (How I Came to Love the Bomb) I remember that movie & others of his. He was quite the guy !!!

Kim Jung-un is way too young to be a leader of a nation.
He lacks maturity & that may be a huge problem !

Why has nobody simply done the obvious and bought the Kims. You've seen what makes him happy ... and it sure isn't looking out for the welfare of his subjects. Give him a few billion dollars, let him have a few Ferraris and whores ... problem solved.

Unless he's already been bought to do exactly what he's doing right now.

No doubt President Trump realises that the topic will play well to the base, but, given that the NK's are kicking against the traces of their Chinese benefactors/overlords, it might be best to let them sort it out ?

I'd have to think that even the Chinese, having come on a little of late, must be embarrassed to have such an archaic comedy of a state as a next door neighbour ? So muscle flexing by the USA will only serve to delay any change, what with face being such a big deal in Asia and all :)

North Korea 'fires a ballistic missile into the East Sea' just a day before Trump and China's Xi meet to discuss Kim Jong-un's rogue nation
  • Isolated state has quickened its missile programme with a volley of recent tests
  • Warning came as President Donald Trump threatened to bring Pyongyang down
  • North Korea has intensified tests on its ability to hit US mainland with missiles
  • US-based analysts said North Korea appears to be preparing a new atomic test

I was always under the impression that NK is nothing more than a thinly disguised proxy for China.

Does anyone really believe Little Kim is really running things there? The military is in control. Trump told China to get them in line. Don't have any ides what he will do, but South Korea is just a few miles away, and they want no part of nuking the north as they will suffer also. Normally the north acts up when it's free food starts running out, and the UN meaning the ussa bails them out.

Here's something of interest that came from a defector. How verifiable this is I don't know. According to Jang Jin-sung
the real Power in North Korea belongs to the Organization and Guidance Department (OGD), which is the most important
department of the Korean Workers Party Central Committee.

This is a easy quick read on the OGD with some interesting tidbits. Kim Jong-Il, current leader's father, formed the
OGD's military desk in the 1980s. The OGD is a Kim family entwined good old boys club where the entwined part
may no longer exist leaving Dearest Leader Kim Jong-un cut off from OGD favor:Reportedly, the leader of the OGD who
was Kim Jong-un's uncle was assassinated in December 2013. Who did it and who really did it is what I'm wondering. Whoever
did it leaves Dearest Leader as the perfect fall guy IF the real power is held by the OGD...He did it...He made us do it...

Put nukes in South Korea and KILL Kim Jong-un: National Security gives Trump options for dealing with North Korea as Tillerson says U.S. can go it alone
  • The U.S. withdrew nuclear weapons from South Korea 25 years ago
  • North Korea has been rattling the international order with repeated ballistic missile launches while continuing its nuclear tests
  • The National Security Council has presented President Trump with options for how to deal with the situation
  • Among them are returning U.S. nuclear weapons to South Korea as a deterrent, and targeting and killing North Korean president Kim Jong-un, according to NBC
  • Some analysts say 'decapitation' strategy is a risky bet that could bring chaos
  • President Trump met with Chinese President Xi Jinpeng at Mar-a-Lago Friday

Now North Korea wades into mounting tension over Trump's strike on Syria calling it an 'unforgivable act of aggression'
  • The communist state is a Syrian ally and has provided arms to Bashar al-Assad
  • It condemned Donald Trump's missile strike on Syrian airbase on Thursday
  • The foreign ministry said it vindicated its decision to strengthen military power

With North Korea who really knows. I'm not so sure the Dearest Leader has anything to do with anything. I'm believing the defector who says the OGD holds the real power in NK. I think it's a toss up whether Kim Jong-Un had his uncle (head of the OGD) assassinated (2012) to isolate the OGD or the OGD killed him in order to push the Kims out of the inner circle. He's either the perfect fall guy for the OGD or just the fall guy of his own making.

Start with McMaster head of NSC. So totally the wrong choice. He is promotion frozen and would have been forced to retire. Why? Because of his radical war views. Now he advises tramp.

Good video's above, that show there's little chance of the Burp Gun Boogie back to Poo San being repeated should there be a 'Next Time'

As for sending a carrier group to the neighbourhood of the peninsular, I'm wondering what thats going to do other than giving the Kim guy some credence with his woefully information starved population ?

The Chinese are the guys who need to be negotiated with on the NK issue, and whilst the President may have written The Art of the Deal, the Chinese are about 2000 years ahead of that when it comes to making deals. Bluster and posturing is likely to indicate to them that they are ahead in the game.

And lets be clear here, from a Chinese perspective, President Trumps election manifesto appears to threaten them with economic problems at a time when they, like the rest of us, have not really gotten over the Crash of 08/09. So we can be sure that they'll use whacko Kim to the utmost as a bargaining counter :)

I broke down about here:
...are about 2000 years ahead of that when it comes...
ur U insinuating that the chin are better? dude us guys have been making deals with the woman folk of the trade for years; we know how to contract, as do they; eye myself would never detract from another, unless fraud is involved.

I'm thinking the "KIM" has himself a case of brain crabs....most likely due to some bones and skulls shit....reminds me of the torcherd crew of the black pearl.

Let us face facts... the Don poked the pooch on this bomb the fuck out of an airport. AND, and guess who said it first publickly before we shot our mechanical sperm into a sovereign nation? Why an egg laying beast of decrepitude, the HILLARY.

Talk about getting led by your nose.

I'd not be surprised if 'Negotiating' is not on the real menu.

More likely the NK's system has come to its end days. If the Chinese have done a deal, then its game over for the Kim dynasty.

China Threatens To Bomb North Korea’s Nuclear Facilities If It Crosses Beijing’s “Bottom Line”

Tyler Durden
April 11th, 2017
ZeroHedge.com
Comments (13)

Editor’s Note: On Monday we highlighted the fact that China wis massing some 150,000 troops on the North Korean border. At the time, we asked whether China was sending a thinly veiled message to President Trump warning him not to interfere on the Korean peninsula, or whether China could be preparing its own offensive against Kim Jong Un’s regime. It appears now that whatever discussions were had between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi over the weekend, the result was cooperation against the North Korean nuclear program. As reported by Zero Hedge, China has now warned North Korea that it will take direct military action against their nuclear facilities, something Trump himself threatened to do, should Un cross any red lines. China, it seems, is now a U.S. ally in the region. Of course, things are moving at such a rapid pace it is hard to nail down exactly what is taking place on the geo-political stage. One day we’re at peace with EastAsia… The next day there could be mushroom clouds.

Via Zero Hedge:

With everyone putting down new and/or revised “red lines“, be it on Syria or North Korea, it was now China’s turn to reveal its “red” or rather “bottom line”, and in a harshly worded editorial titled “The United States Must Not Choose a Wrong Direction to Break the DPRK Nuclear Deadlock on Wednesday” Beijing warned it would attack North Korea’s facilities producing nuclear bombs, effectively engaging in an act of war, if North Korea crosses China’s “bottom line.”

The editorial in the military-focused Global Times tabloid, owned and operated by the Communist Party’s People’s Daily newspaper, said that North Korea’s nuclear activities must not jeopardize northeastern China, and that if the North impacts China with its illicit nuclear tests through either “nuclear leakage or pollution”, then China will respond with force.

“China has a bottom line that it will protect at all costs, that is, the security and stability of northeast China… If the bottom line is touched, China will employ all means available including the military means to strike back. By that time, it is not an issue of discussion whether China acquiesces in the US’ blows, but the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) will launch attacks to DPRK nuclear facilities on its own.”

This, as the editorial puts it, is the “bottom line” for China; should it be crossed China will employ all means available including the military means to strike back,” warned the editorial.

It is worth noting is that shortly after publication, the article seems to have been retracted without explanation, the URL now returning a “404” error. However not before the original article was cached on a webpage owned by China Military, courtesy of google.

In the editorial, the author also declared that the “People’s Liberation Army (PLA) will launch attacks to DPRK nuclear facilities on its own. A strike to nuclear facilities of the DPRK is the best military means in the opinion of the outside world.” The northeastern Chinese provinces of Liaoning and Jilin share borders with North Korea. These two provinces and Heilongjiang are part of the Shenyang Military Region, one of seven military regions of the People’s Liberation Army.

The editorial also explained the advantages to the world of a Chinese attack on North Korea’s nuclear facilities.

It noted China and the world know the locations of North Korea’s nuclear facilities. Once the PLA attacks these nuclear sites, North Korea will permanently suspend its nuclear weapons programs.
North Korea “has limited resources of nuclear materials and is strictly blockaded in the outside world, erasing the possibility for DPRK to get the materials again.”

China also noted that “nuclear weapons is DPRK’s trump card for its defiance of China and the United States. Once this card is lost, it will become obedient immediately.”

The author then speculated rhetorically that if North Korea’s “nuclear facilities are destroyed, they will not even fight back, but probably block the news to fool its domestic people. The DPRK will freak out if its nuclear facilities are destroyed.” And yes, a Chinese author said “freak out.”

The report also said that “the DPRK must not fall into the turmoil to send a large number of refugees, it is not allowed to have a government that is hostile against China on the other side of the Yalu River, and the US military must not push forward its forces to the Yalu River.” It notes that “this sentence is meant for the United States, because the premise of it is that the US military has launched attacks to the DPRK.

But what may be the most notable part of the oped is the mention in the Global Times editorial that North Korea will not be “not allowed to have a government that is hostile against China on the other side of the Yalu River.” This implies that if and when the US initiate strikes on NK, the Chinese PLA will likely send out troops “to lay the foundation” for a favorable post-war situation.

In other words, China may be just waiting for Trump to “decapitate” the North Korean regime, to pounce and immediately fill the power vacuum.

Do these satellite images prove Kim Jong-un IS preparing to detonate a new nuclear bomb to mark North Korea's 'Day of the Sun'?
  • US fear North Korea plans to detonate nuclear device in a tunnel on Saturday
  • Pyongyang is reportedly in its final stages of preparing for its sixth nuclear test
  • Foreign reporters were told to prepare for a 'big and important' event today
  • Pyongyang is marking biggest national day called 'Day of the Sun' on Saturday
  • Tensions are high with North Korea warning of a nuclear attack on the US at any sign of American aggression

Given that NK's military will be supplied by China, and have strong links in the way that the UK and USA have, and also the fact that the cult of personality that the bizzaro Kim deal represents will require the tacit support of the NK elite, its highly likely that the figure head Kim guy will mysteriously Die before the brown stuff hits the fan ?

The power pyramid in NK will be well aware that it'd be a better deal to dump the status quo rather than get into a fight they cannot win with their benefactors. You'd have to imagine also that the people in the higher echelons of NK must be aware that the disparity between their state, and their southern neighbour, and now China, is so Yuuuuge, that the possibilities of maintaining the current setup grow dimmer by the day ?

Be nice of course if some transformation could be achieved in a managed way. Even allowing for the fact that the guy on the Pyongyang omnibus is going to be no more stupid than anybody else on the planet, there must exist a great potential for confusion. And 25 million folks getting confused is in nobody's interest.

Ultimately, threats from China are likely to have a far greater effect than American posturing, as the latter merely conforms to the world view that the NK regime sells to its people on a daily basis. When their benefactor turns snotty it'll focus the minds of those in NK who are sitting high on the hog of a repressed population far more effectively than a US administration who seem to be wanting to bask in some of the 'Success' when the NK regime passes into history, what with the USA being the sole driver of democratic change on the planet and all :)
