There are many resources available both written & vid to turn wood & trash into either gasoline or diesel.... these methods are used to fuel vehicles in some of the remotest areas of the world, places where cleaner fuels cannot be transported regularly....

Interesting stuff, but, I need to get to a free wifi spot (Safeway, McDonalds .....) to have enough internet time to watch.

Interesting history with wood gas and the syngas it creates. Germany used wood gas as a supplement to oil during WW2.
One of the big problems is the amount of mess the whole thing makes, black soot everywhere.
Filtering these particles further down the line was an issue but not impossible.
The guy in the video uses multiple containers of water for cooling but they also filter the soot, somewhat.

Another problem with the setup is that it is a big invitation for the local .gov EPA division to investigate you and fine you for some statute you and probably they didn't know was on the books. All it takes is one nosy neighbor and loose lips for that to happen.

Exactly, we live 24 miles outa town. We have about 7 or 8 neighbors. You would think that is ideal, nope we have one ASSHOLE that calls the law when ever possible. I can only imagine how many ASSHOLES you would have in a city.
