Joe Rogan wasn’t happy with the scoring of the Jon Jones vs. Dominick Reyes headliner at UFC 247, and he let it be known.

Rogan, the long-time UFC color commentator, expressed his frustrations with the judging Saturday night in Houston, specifically for the main event at Toyota Center. Jones retained his light heavyweight title, beating Reyes by unanimous decision with scores of 48-47, 48-47 and 49-46.

There’s no doubt the fight between Jones and Reyes was close, which puts into question the 49-46 scorecard submitted by judge Joe Soliz. Rogan didn’t hold back when he weighed in on Soliz’s scoring on the UFC 247 broadcast.

“I can’t argue about this enough,” Rogan said. “I can’t get angry enough. I’ve done it so many times. For anyone to think that was 4-1 Jon Jones, that person’s insane.

“They’re insane. Dominick Reyes put on a hell of a fight tonight. And to disrespect that performance by that kind of judging is insane.”

Meanwhile Valentina Shevchenko looked amazing and finished her opponent.

it's not necessarily the judges that need to change but the scoring system. A 10 point must system doesn't work for MMA just as Joe Rogan points out.

Another good argument then I think needs to be thrown into this mixes that you need to take the belt away in convincing fashion. Jones is starting to pick him apart and later rounds minutes if I kept going I think would have ended in a TKO for jj.

That said I think he needed to pick it up a bit earlier and have been less than impressed in his past half dozen performances without the picograms.

He's been one of my favorite fighters to watch.

What did you think about the latifi fight and it's judges?
