That rollover could have been prevented with some counter-steering. Seems like Bob forgot that the steering wheel can turn the front wheels. Eh, those things can happen when you're 80.

The roll bar and the 4-point restraints did their job. Aside from a bruised ego, no injuries.

The car got bent a little. Maybe it will buff out.

I truly saw it coming, but, was hoping I was wrong.
Too much weight on rear, therefore poor steering & control.
Actually reminds me of "Unsafe at Any Speed" (ya gotta be old to know what that refers to !!! LOL)

I had that car with a slant 6 and automatic, New York winters killed it....

My middle brother had a Corvair. We would take turns hiding under the hood going to the Drive-In theaters.
FWIW - The Corvair was the daddy that led to the DeLorean. The car Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd brought back from the dead, for while anyway.

Probably helped that all the car weight was in the rear - transferring the roll-over impact away from from the front end - passenger compartment.
