I have two printers, I use one for black and white , a brother with the drum, no problems, the color printer i use on occasion seems to always have a problem with the ink cartridges drying up , anyone else have this issue?? Ive had the same issue with other color printers ive used, any solutions?

Go laser printer and you won’t “dry out”.

Initial cost is higher, but toner is far cheaper and looks better.

Dell or HP low volume printer. Check techforless and other open box outfits.

You can refill as well, but check cost of toner b4 buying anything.

If you only use it on occasion, remove the ink cartridges, put them in a tupperware container with a moist (not wet) sponge, cloth, or paper towel and keep in a dark place until you need to use them.

Then reinstall them and repeat process after use.
