Low-information voters, educated by Alex Jones, became internet Putin-groupies in the past few years. They are always in desperate search for a cheer-leader to idolize. These are the same ignorant ones who will tell you that Abraham Lincoln was an opponent of big-bad bankers, the Federal reserve Act was some secret deal, that JF Kennedy wanted to give you silver coins. Now these unfortunate ones came up with the idea that Putin (the Cheka & the Robber Barons), in co-operation with Dictator Xi (and the Chinese Liberation Army) are rushing to the rescue of the village-idiots congregating around professional charlatans like Jones, Griffin & a hundred others.

As to refugees, I was unable to find any serious numbers as to "before invasion" numbers of Ukrainians that fled the Ukraine from 2014 until the invasion began. Oddly, it all seems to have been scrubbed from search results, almost all the links are from after the invasion. Odd hey? I did find this from 2014.
I do know from personal experience that Poland is full of refugees from Ukraine, well before the invasion. Also noteworthy is the number of "protests" in European capitals after the invasion with large numbers of Ukrainian people protesting the Russian invasion, who obviously were there long before the invasion. Also watching European reporting I am astounded at the number of people they have had on staff at the European MSM that are Ukrainians and have been in those countries long before the invasion. My spouses' home city of Wroclaw, far West from Ukraine, was flooded with Ukrainians well before the invasion. This is common knowledge over there, and was not reported outside of Poland as far as I can tell. It was one reason Poland gave for not taking in Mideast "refugees", they were already full of refugees prior to 2022.
So that "evil Putin" is behind everything. Geezus, get a fucking life and a clue. They are ALL assholes and want us dead.

Only a low-information voter (devoid of logic) would argue that the fact that the U.S. is an evil Empire, somehow makes Putin a good guy, and his war against the people of Ukraine a just one.
This is at least the third war of the blood-thirsty megalomaniacs against the people of Ukraine. Just because this time NATO is arming and using the people of Ukraine, it doesn't make Empire Russia any better than they were when they sloughtered Pugachev and the insurgents.

Actually, he was just saying the WEF wasn't going to take over the world. For that I am also thankful right along with him.

It was the so much glorified cultural elite that prepared this war rather than ignorant masses. They argued or implied that Ukraine is a fake nation with fake/inferior culture and history. In other words, the real problem is that Ukrainians stick to inferior memes. Worst of all, they could have upgraded and accepted superior, Russian memes, but they refuse to.
Russian invasion of Ukraine can be understood only in cultural context. Kremlin didn't plan for a war, it planned to "liberate" Ukraine, save it by imposing the correct memes. But it turned out that Ukrainians didn't want to be saved. That's how Special Operation turned into war.
Initial Kremlin's assumption was that Ukraine isn't irredeemable. It's a country of somewhat inferior Russians, controlled by the "Nazis" who brainwashed the rest into submission. But what Ukrainians secretly want is to drop the farce of "Ukraine" and become normal (= Russian).
To understand the logic behind Z-invasion you have to keep in mind that Russianness = normality. When you are Russified you just become normal. Z-invasion was planned as a gift or humanitarian operation. That's why Ukrainian resistance is so shocking. They don't want to be normal. Ukrainian ingratitude and refusal to become Russians explains the rapid escalation of violence by the Russian military. See the bombing of Nikolaev. I won't be surprised if Russians use tactical nukes against Ukrainian cities by May 9, the Victory Day.
