Remington Arms preps for bankruptcy sale to Navajo Nation
NYPost

Remington Arms, America’s oldest gun maker, is preparing to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and is in advanced talks for a potential sale to the Navajo Nation, The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday.

Remington is making preparations for the Native American tribe to serve as the lead bidder to purchase its assets out of Chapter 11, the Journal reported here, citing people familiar with the matter. Remington had previously filed for bankruptcy protection in March 2018.

Listen up folks, the Navajos know what's coming. This time they ain't gonna be caught short in the firearms arena.

They just bought three BKed coal mines in the PRB and are mixed up in some rare earth stuff too. Makes you wonder if they see the dollar collapsing and want assets. That particular tribe is the richest in the nation because they actually managed to keep some mineral rich land.

Or so I’ve been told.
