I fully understand this and I am by no means "pro-abortion". Abortions are horrible and the process is inhumane...to the baby.
I’ve seen different numbers from different studies but it’s the “7.5%” in the red category that I think we are talking about. The 92.5% discretionary/lifestyle rational would stop a lot of death and an easier argument to win
Without answering the direct question, I'd propose that if the situation is egregious enough to put the baby to death, the rapist should also be put to death.
A rapist should not.
IF that happened to be true the law(s) could/should be changed. A robber does not get to keep or claim the items he stole as his.

I have no issue with a father stepping up and taking responsibility for the child to raising the child. Even if "mom' and her family want nothing to do with the offspring. Time heals all wounds and the "mom' may come around sooner or later. Relationships can be mended.
I'm speaking of an un-married father of a child about to be aborted with out the permission of the father. Why are the fathers rights of parenthood being denied?

Abortion supporters did an about-face on their pro-choice political stances after being shown videos of how aborted babies are gruesomely severed limb from limb in the womb.
In the video filmed last December in Times Square, a Live Action reporter speaks with half a dozen abortion supporters, saying “Every day in the United States, 2,363 abortions are performed. Do you think that number is low, is it high, should we do anything about that number?”
Most interviewees say they’re comfortable with the number and that it’s a woman’s right to choose whether to kill her babies.
The people are then asked to view a short video explaining an abortion procedure.
After viewing the ghastly video, the interviewees all express a change of heart.
The video is recirculating on social media in the wake of a SCOTUS leak indicating Roe v. Wade federal abortion protections could soon be overturned.

Dr. Kermit Gosnell will serve life in prison without parole. He escaped the possibility of execution by agreeing Tuesday to waive his right to appeal his conviction, returned Monday, of first-degree murder in the deaths of three babies. A jury found they were delivered alive and killed by snipping their spinal cords with surgical scissors.
During his trial, former employees of Gosnell's rundown west Philadelphia clinic testified that he performed or tried to perform abortions beyond Pennsylvania's 24-week gestation limit. Some procedures resulted in the birth of babies who appeared to be moving, breathing and in one case, according to former employee Ashley Baldwin, "screeching."
In his summation before more than a week of jury deliberation, Assistant District Attorney Edward Cameron said Gosnell didn't care about his patients or their babies and "adopted a Henry Ford way of doing business: He created an assembly line. … My dog was treated better than he treated these babies and women."

A draft decision leaked from the U.S. Supreme Court earlier this month has fundamentally altered the judicial body, potentially doing irreparable damage, Justice Clarence Thomas said during a conference in Dallas Friday evening.
“I do think that what happened at the court is tremendously bad… I wonder how long we’re going to have these institutions at the rate we’re undermining them,” Thomas said at the Old Parkland Conference.
The leak — not the decision’s potential implication of overturning Roe v. Wade — has potentially done irreparable harm to people’s trust in the institution, the veteran justice said.
“When you lose that trust, especially in the institution that I’m in, it changes the institution fundamentally. You begin to look over your shoulder. It’s like kind of an infidelity that you can explain it, but you can’t undo it,” Thomas added.
The high court’s secrecy has been an integral part of the judicial process, allowing justices to deliberate free of outside pressures, he added, noting the members of the court did not think such a leak could even occur.
“Oh, that’s impossible. No one would ever do that,” he said, theorizing how people thought of the Supreme Court’s exclusivity prior to the leak.
“Now that trust or that belief is gone forever,” Thomas claimed.
Thomas also suggested there has been a recent trend to undermine the Supreme Court, challenging its integrity and impartialness — and a new phenomenon of citizens showing up to members’ homes and holding them personally responsible.
The justice said, however, the trend was among liberals and that conservatives have not acted in this way.
“You would never visit Supreme Court justices’ houses when things didn’t go our way. We didn’t throw temper tantrums. I think it is … incumbent on us to always act appropriately and not to repay tit-for-tat,” Thomas said.
