Look at silver prices. In 2008 oct when it hit 8+, silver reached roughly 2.5 time in april 2011, a period of more than 18 months.

This time when it hit lowest in march beginning at 11+, it took roughly only 5 months to reach 2.5 times.


Its tungsten coil this time.

The latest COT chart for silver if it is to be believed, shows a truly remarkable situation. Normally, after a big runup in silver, we would expect to see the Large Specs long positions ratchet up to an extreme level, but that hasn’t happened at all on this occasion – their positions are still at a modest level. What does this mean? – the only thing I can think of is that it means that they don’t believe in this rally and are not committing to it. Since they are almost always wrong, their lack of interest after this big runup must be interpreted as strongly bullish.

you are right about silver being in consolidation territory. Any price between 28.46 and 26. 03 (3 times support on daily) is narrow trading range. WHILE 29.84 and 23.38 is the larger consolidation limits.

So technically it is in consolidation phase. Personally I am looking forward to wave "C" completion at a bit lower level
