I just spent a while on Apmex looking for any silver that you can actually buy at anywhere near the theoretical spot price of $12. None at all. All silver that you can actually buy is at $22+. I conclude that $12/oz is the price of virtual, i.e., nonexistent silver. Real silver, probably 1/20th or less as common as non-existent silver, is quite a bit more valuable.

We've seen this disconnect before, back in 2009 when the theoretical price was around $9 but there was nothing anywhere at any price much less $9. I still remember the excitement on GIM when Scott, owner of Apmex had found some colorized Lunars and was offering them to us at ONLY spot + $6 or so. I've still got those but I hate colorized Lunars.

in other words all the silver that was under $10 dollars is gone or held tightly
probably the latter. Anyone here get any $10 silver this week?
