These cretins are sick !

Democrats introduced the Disarm Hate Act that would use hate crime laws to curb gun ownership. The measure would prohibit people convicted of certain hate-crime misdemeanors from possessing a gun.

Last week, New York City approved a new directive making it illegal to threaten someone with a call to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or to use phrases like “go back to your own country” or “illegal alien” when motivated by hate.

Is it a crime to hate the people who create hate-crime laws as a back-door for gun confiscation?

Asking for a very polite gun owner.

Years ago during the divorce wars, guys would plead guilty to false domestic violence claims only to have this impact their rights years later...Date of Previous Conviction: The prohibition applies to persons convicted of such misdemeanors at any time, even if the conviction occurred prior to the new law's effective date, September 30, 1996. See United States v. Brady, 26 F.3d 282 (2d Cir.), cert. denied, 115 S.Ct. 246 (1994)(denying ex post facto challenge to a 922(g)(1) conviction) and United States v. Waters, 23 F.3d 29 (2d Cir. 1994)(ex post facto based challenge to a 922(g)(4) conviction).

It's the old:
Go to bed an innocent person, wake up as a long time criminal, routine

The Communists have learned their lessons well, creating a criminal seems to be very easy for them these days...

So it it should be obvious. DO NOT LIE. DO NOT plead guilty to a crime you did not commit. A plea bargain is a lie. A LIE. The accused should be tried and be found guilty or "insufficient evidence to be found guilty." Anything else is... wrong.

Especially since years later other penalties may be added...

New York City? Isn’t it all but impossible to own a gun in that city as it is?? Sounds like more of an attack on 1A than 2A that people should be upset about.
It’s not a trip to the Big Apple unless at some point you can tell your obnoxious Pakistani cab driver to go back where he came from.

No one is taking your guns.

used to be a time you could pull out a weapon and have that Paki driver get you to your destination by the most direct route in a time frame and cost that was acceptable to all
